Pursue Economic Stimulus Money for Green Advantage Training and Certification
Some qualifying training organizations have notified Green Advantage that they are submitting grant applications to fund Green Advantage® Certification programs.
The “Economic Stimulus Bill,” technically termed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, (ARRA) is an economic stimulus package that was enacted by Congress in February 2009. The Act includes federal tax benefits, certain unemployment and social welfare provisions, infrastructure and energy funding as well as funding for education and health care. Monies from this legislation for educational purposes are available through various agencies including State Energy and Workforce Development Offices.
