Your Role in the Green Environment

This class, designed for craft level workers, or to anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts of green building, provides fundamental instruction about the environment, green construction practices, and the green building rating systems.
The certification as well as the NCCER Certification is complementary to LEED Accreditation and will teach attendees how to integrate green practices and strategies into the construction process to lighten the impact on the environment and improve the health of construction workers and building occupants. The class teaches the environmental impact of the built environment and identifies ways in which construction professionals can mitigate this impact responsibly and effectively.

- Students who successfully complete this class will be awarded an NCCER certification with the option to prepare for and take the Green Advantage Certification Examination - Commercial/Residential.
- This class is a must for contractors who are wishing to be more competitive when bidding on green build projects!
In the event that you are unable to attend the scheduled testing session following this training, arrangements can be made for you to take the Open Book Exam at another participating testing site. There is an additional fee of approximately $35 for these services. Exams must be taken within 1 year of registering.
