Andrew Williams

Andrew Williams began his career as a first year union glazer apprentice at Kensington Glass & Framing in Berlin Connecticut after transitioning from picture framing in 1999.  He moved straight to 3rd year apprenticeship after rising quickly to a foreman role within his first year.

In July 2001 he went to work for J&G Glass due to the high volume of projects the company was involved in across the North East.  During his tenure at J&G Glass, Andrew worked as a foreman on projects from New Jersey to Boston that include residential, state and commercial venues specializing in layout, curtain wall, storefront, glass partitions, hardware, skylights, mirrored walls, glass hand rail, Herculite Doors, storm doors, and residential windows.

Andrew was a third and fourth year glazing instructor at the Finishing Trades Institute District Council 11 from 2003 thru 2007.  He is current with his OSHA 30, CPR, first aid, scissor and man lift, welding, forklift operator safety, Hilti Laser and Powder Actuated tools maintaining all safety certifications keeping with the highest fidelity of the trade.

Andrew also makes use of his trade skills to help others.  He has volunteered and worked at ground zero aiding in the 9-11 cleanup and recovery in addition to volunteering in Gulf Port Mississippi where he helped rebuild the community after hurricane Katrina.
