Chris Haddox

Chris is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Design at West Virginia University where he develops and teaches courses on green building principles and practices as well as preparation courses for the Green Advantage® and LEED Green Associate credentialing exams. His research interests focus on affordable housing and evidence-based design of rural health care facilities. Chris has delivered green building presentations, workshops and trainings to a diverse collection of local, national, and international audiences. Chris is a LEED® Accredited Professional, and a Certified Home Energy Rater (HERS) with RESNET.  This is Chris’ second stint on the Board of Green Advantage.  

Chris holds a Ph.D. in Human and Community Development, an MBA, a Master of Science in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, all from West Virginia University.
