Michael D. Metz, is a glazing industry consultant who specializes in organizational development, logistics, and group facilitation. He has over 20 years of strategic and project management experience and has served in various industry positions. These include: Director of Training for the Finishing Trades International; General Foreman and Estimator; and National Glass and Metal Co.
Michael has also served on a variety of professional educational committees, including the National Building & Construction Trades Department, Apprenticeship (Committee Chair), the Curriculum Committee Member for IUPAT District Council 21 (Sub-Committee Chair), and the Negotiation and Contract Committee, IUPAT District Council 21 (Committee Member).
Michael holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University, a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Studies from the National Labor College, and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Occupational Science from Marshall University.
