Anna Marshall-Baker, PhD, is a Professor of Interior Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research focuses on the reciprocal effects of people and their [[{“fid”:”2251″,”view_mode”:”inset_right_small”,”fields”:{“format”:”inset_right_small”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:”Anna Marshall-Baker”,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”attributes”:{“alt”:”Anna Marshall-Baker”,”height”:”855″,”width”:”621″,”class”:”media-element file-inset-right-small”}}]]environments with a particular emphasis on sustainability and healthcare. She is author of more than 100 publications and presentations disseminated to regional, national, and international audiences, including the chapters “Nature as a Model for Design” and “The Design of Neonatal Intensive Care.” She is co-author with Lisa Tucker, PhD, of “Designing for Cradle to Cradle Home: Process and Experience” published in 2012. As President of IDEC in 2004, she worked with others to incorporate sustainability as fundamental in all interior design education. She is a Fellow in IDEC, recipient of the Founder’s Award from the Committee on Sustainability at UNCG, and has been recognized by DesignIntelligence as a Top 25 Design Educator in the US. Currently she serves as Chair of the Department of Interior Architecture at UNCG.
