James Scott Brew, AIA, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, CPHC, LEED AP, WELL AP is a senior sustainability & wellness architect with the top globally ranked Architecture and Engineering firm NIKKEN SEKKEI. He has over 35 years in architecture and planning–specializing in moving beyond sustainability to regenerative design through health & wellness solutions, whole-systems thinking, integrative design, and creating actionable, resilient community energy and water solutions.
He has designed hundreds of buildings and completed many campus, city, and urban design plans. From his Rocky Mountain Institute tenure, his work extended from beyond the U.S. and Asia to Australia, the Middle East, and Europe (small portfolio below).
He has over three decades of sustainable design experience in historic, commercial, institutional, and residential architecture. James is a frequent speaker at regional, national, and international conferences on many aspects of sustainable design issues–leading us toward regenerative buildings and communities.
