Mr. Compton graduated with his Bachelor of Design degree from the University of Florida with a Major in Interior Design, then worked for 5 years in Washington DC, returning to UF to earn his Masters of Architecture degree. This journey resulted in professional experiences in many aspects of the built environment, including academic exploration and instruction, with practical application of design and construction process ranging from initial client contact and schematic development to project management. In addition to be a LEED Accredited Professional, he is a very strong proponent, activist of sustainable practices and teachings in the design community. Michael has extensive knowledge and skill in multiple software packages, including BIM modeling, allowing him to use technology in the creation (development) of diagrammatic and powerful images, bringing design ideas and concepts to life. As an Architect with RS&H, Inc. in Jacksonville, Fl. he has demonstrated excellent leadership and communication skills leading to the successful execution of healthcare projects.
